Electricity and Water
Electricity and Water has sixteen people who see to drinking water production, wastewater lift and treatment, electrical distribution for the Marquette sector, municipal building electrical and mechanical maintenance, and proper operation of lighting circuits and traffic lights.
The Town of Baie-Comeau is a member of Association des redistributeurs d’électricité du Québec (AREQ) and has over 5,200 customers on its system, which boasts over 110 km of powerlines.
The town has a special complaint review procedure for consumers with concerns regarding rates or power supply terms.
