This building houses the municipal archives and the Société historique de la Côte-Nord center for historical archives, which has extensive regional history and genealogical resources available for public use.
Société historique de la Côte-Nord also presents an annual summer exhibition in the building’s exhibit hall. The society’s mission is to conserve and present North Shore heritage through the acquisition, promotion, and preservation of this heritage. Genealogical books, archives, and numerous other works are available for consultation and research. |
